No more licking you
finger, or using soap or cream to get your rings off, and then leaving your
finger in pain, with a swollen irritated knuckle.
Ring sizing, measuring for your finger size
Once your ring size is proper, your ring will no longer Flip-flop.
For those cases
where you have been wearing your ring for many years, and now are unable to get
your ring off due to a large Knuckle. We recommend going to a jeweler to have
the ring cut (using a special cutting tool for removing rings) so as to spread
it enough to get it off your finger, then have it squeezed back to see what size
it was, this will give us an idea what size range you are in, not the knuckle
size, then let your finger rest for a month or so, till it feels normal again.
This could increase the size, as your finger might fill out a little. Then we
can send you our plastic-measuring strap to measure your finger exactly, (not
your knuckle as conventional jewelers do).
Consider these facts:
A. Some people puff after drinking wine. Fingers get larger.
B. During the heat of summer we all puff, and you will find a Summer fit
is usually too lose in deep cold of winter.
C. Wide bands tend to choke up on your finger, more so than with narrow
bands. So we always allow for a larger size to compensate.
Ladies:
Do not measure your finger during that time of the month, as you run the
risk of having the ring size too large for most other days.
The P.F.F. clasp comes in a Standard or Deluxe mechanism. The
Standard model has a single spring on the lock and a simple door hinge. The
Deluxe model is enhanced by an additional spring on the hinge side to
firm up the opening and closing as with a pen knife.
An additional choice of mechanism mentioned in this page is the L.P. (Low
Profile) band. Regular bands are hinged and locked at the 10 AM and 2 PM
position. L.P. bands are hinged and locked at the 9 AM and 3 PM position for
special cases to save the maximum amount of the original ring in such cases as
low artwork, engraving or stones.
